Although the sound fades out a bit during the tune, Sandman rules. Fires you right up. Blastoff!

Ween had the best show of the weekend. Regardless, the CD I made back in 2004 of this Umphries show is still one of my favorite cd's. Every time I listen to this show I get goosebumps. The energy on stage and in the crowd was unreal. A must have for any Umphries fan or anyone with a pulse for that matter.

Subject: GET THIS SHOW!!!
Wow! I remember going to an UM show and there were less than 30 people there. After seeing Umphrey's over a few dozen times, this is by far the best show I have seen them play. They were absolutley on with this performance. I think this is the peak of UM. I haven't heard a show this good since. Great recording as well. moe. was just the icing on the cake. Best show of Bonnaroo 2004 hands down.Don't miss out!!

Subject: Life Changing
This was my first time seeing Umphreys. I checked them out instead of Vida on my buddys request. I am so glad I went. The music never stopped it seemed. I actually saw someone throw themselves on the ground from dancing to hard! It was awesome. I have seen them ten times since, I AM HOOKED!

Subject: I was one of those UM virgins!
This was my first experience with Umphrey's and it was a amazing. I am a dedicated phish phan and got ,my phix with trey w/Dave, but I passed on Vida Blue this night (with Page McConnel) to see Umphrey's at my friends request, and I was blown away. These guys are incredible and this is the show that turned me on. I have seen them 3 times since and the energy is great with this band, but get this show for sure. When they interplay with moe and jam non-stop for almost an hour they really show what these multi-band festivals are for. This is the show that will get you hooked on Umphrey's guranteed.

Umph's ROCKED THE FUCKIN HOUSE. Plain and simple. It was awesome seeing all the newcoming Umphrey's virgins finally seeing the Bright Lights that those midwestern boys provide for the crowd--I was lucky enough to snag a front row spot in this show and was happier then ever. Thought that moe. stuck up there a lil' to long, but was still a nice treat. Nemo was rockin as always---GREEEEAT SHOW made bonnaroo worth the two hundred fuckin dollars.

I wouldn't have left Umph for Praxis if someone paid me... I was in a trance to this show. A girl with psycedelic flags was dancing over me while I was laying down shroomed durring Noting Too Fancy and Bright Lights and it made my evening. Umphrey's played out their best for the fans that day. I've never heard them put so much into a set. It blew my mind. And the sound isn't great, Its PERFECT.

What an outstanding late night!! after being evacuated at Summercamp and missing the UM Late show, this was truly redeeming. Everyone should have a copy of this, whether they were there or not. The boys brought heat from note one.

Tennessee sends the sad chi fan our love.

Thanks alot for posting this show. It was hard to see all of this show with Vida Blue slammin' in the neighboring tent. The sound quality is excellent. These guys are so up and coming its sick, they're gonna be huge. This show has an insane amount of energy. This was a bonnaroo delight.

Yet another band developing into pure virtuosity. After this show and the release of Anchor Drops on Tuesday, Umphrey's McGee will officially be- too big for this small bar going man. I hate to see knuckleheads intruding in on my UMPHS- but with their talent, who can resist. For years now friends have been telling me that these guys will never amount- what up now fellas? Wow!! At least they will be making the $ they deserve, & at least I know Chi-Town is the Fly-Town. Adios Trey, Hola Jake! The east coast aint got nada on the midwest- mainly because the midwest rocks. Just listen.

Subject: SICKEST LATE NIGHT SHOW OF THE CENTURY
After an early late night show at Moe's Summer Camp due to the rain, and an early end to the Belmont-Sheffield show due to the city alderman, Umphrey's would not allow anyone stop the music this time. They played an uninterruped single set of music (with the members of moe switching instruments in order to allow Umphrey's time to rest for a little) for over four hours. They played extremely tight, and forever! Awesome show, great quality... We see the rock show and dance party all in one, insanity.

Notes

Late Night Set
* Members of moe. replaced UM members one-by-one; with Brent Black teases
$ with Michael Travis (String Cheese Incident) was on percussion
@ with Vince Iwinski on lead vocals, a la James Hetfield
+ with Norwegian Wood jam and My Name is Mud jam

Transfer Notes:

1) The PA cut out on several occasions. The most noticeable was during Enter Sandman when it cuts out at 5:02 and doesn't fully return until about 6:45.
